First half in 1 hour and 53 minutes!
I swear, I have the hardest time motivating myself to run the day after I take a day off.
Make it mindless
You know that feeling you get in the middle of a workout? When the endorphins finally flood in and you feel a surge of energy and empowerment? And you ask yourself: Why don’t I do this more often?
I don’t know about you, but I LOVE working out…I just have a hard time getting myself to start each day! The best ways to cut out excuses to set a stage for yourself in which you have one. Here are 10 ways to “make it mindless,” that way whether you are just waking up or coming home from work, you can immediately launch into your workout, no excuses necessary!
1.) Lay out your clothes the night before with sports bras, shorts/spandex and shoes that fit you and will help you feel GREAT
2.) For strength training, make or use a printable of exercises (you can find some if you type “workout” into my search engine. Backonpoint has some great ones too!) This way you don’t waste time trying to figure out what to do. I always end up doing more exercises too, because I feel motivated to finish everything on the printable!
3.) For running, have a playlist or pandora station ready ahead of time. Whenever one of my favorite bands comes out with a new album, I wait until I go for a run to listen to it for the first time, like a reward for getting out and running!
